How we send and manage text messages
Overview
These SMS & MMS Messaging Terms ("Messaging Terms") govern text messages sent to you by organizations ("Teams") using the Bynli platform. By opting in to receive messages from a Team on Bynli, you agree to these Messaging Terms.
How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive text messages from a Team by taking one of the following actions:
- Submitting a form on the Team's website or Bynli-hosted page that includes a checkbox or explicit consent statement for text message communications;
- Replying to an initial SMS message sent by a Team after being added by an authorized representative of that Team, where the initial message discloses the opt-in;
- Providing your mobile number in-person to an authorized Team representative with a clear verbal or written statement that you consent to receive texts.
Providing your phone number without a clear and affirmative opt-in action does not constitute consent to receive marketing or promotional texts.
Types of Messages
Depending on the Team you have opted in with, you may receive:
- Nonprofit & Civic Outreach — volunteer opportunities, donation acknowledgments, community events;
- Political & Civic Organizing — campaign updates, voter information, canvassing and phone bank coordination;
- General Organizational Updates — event reminders, meeting notices, announcements;
- Customer Care & Support — responses to your inquiries, account notifications.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by Team and campaign. You may receive anywhere from a few messages per month to several messages per week during active campaigns. Each Team is responsible for not exceeding the frequency disclosed at opt-in.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier. Bynli does not charge for incoming or outgoing text messages beyond standard carrier rates.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages from a Team at any time by replying STOP to any message from that Team. After sending STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt-in.
You may also opt out by contacting the Team directly or by contacting Bynli at support@bynli.com.
Note: Opting out of one Team's messages does not affect messages from other Teams you have separately opted into.

Reply HELP to any message to receive a help response. You may also contact Bynli at support@bynli.com or visit bynli.com/support for assistance.
Privacy & Data Use
Your mobile number and message history are governed by the Bynli Privacy Policy. Bynli does not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver messages from Teams you have opted into and to comply with carrier and regulatory requirements.
Supported Carriers
Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most major US carriers. Carrier availability may vary. Messages may not be received on all devices or through all carriers.
Regulatory Compliance
All messaging through the Bynli platform is subject to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices. Teams agree, as a condition of using Bynli's messaging features, to comply with all applicable laws and these Messaging Terms.
Changes to These Terms
Bynli may update these Messaging Terms from time to time. Continued use of text messaging services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Bynli dashboard or email.
