Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the Bynli platform. It applies to all users — members, managers, admins, and visitors. Using Bynli means you agree to this policy.

Our goal is simple: keep Bynli a safe, respectful, and useful platform for every community using it.

Permitted Use

Bynli is designed for legitimate group and community management. You may use the platform to:

• Organise and manage your group or community
• Communicate with group members
• Create and manage events
• Collect legitimate payments such as dues, donations, or event fees
• Build and distribute forms to your members
• Share media and resources relevant to your group

Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Bynli:

Harmful content

• Content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
• Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
• Sexual content involving minors under any circumstances
• Content designed to intimidate or bully any individual

Illegal activity

• Using the platform to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other illegal financial activity
• Collecting payments for illegal goods or services
• Violating the intellectual property rights of others
• Collecting personal data without consent or in violation of applicable privacy laws

Platform abuse

• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account or part of the platform
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape or abuse the platform
• Deliberately introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Sending spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications not related to your group
• Creating fake accounts or impersonating others

Content Standards

Any content you upload, share, or transmit through Bynli must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Be appropriate for the audience of your group

Enforcement

We take violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, we may:

• Remove the offending content
• Issue a warning to the user or group admin
• Temporarily suspend access to the platform
• Permanently terminate the account
• Report the activity to relevant authorities where required by law

We will always try to take proportionate action and will notify affected users where appropriate.

Reporting Violations

If you see something on Bynli that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us at hello@bynli.com. Include as much detail as possible — screenshots are helpful.

We take all reports seriously and aim to respond within 48 hours.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as the platform grows. We will notify you of significant changes through the platform or by email.
